Sirach 4:20 - 5:7

Never speak against the truth,
but be ashamed of your ignorance.
Do not be ashamed to confess your sins,
and do not try to stop the current of a river.
Do not subject yourself to a fool,
or show partiality to a ruler.
Fight to the death for truth,
and the Lord God will fight for you. Sirach (4:25-28)

What is real? Find it and keep it.

I am ignorant of many things. That is reality.

I am a sinner. That is reality.

There are forces beyond my influence. That is reality.

I have the ability to recognize truth, choose truth, and speak for the truth. That is also reality.
